About the Role
The Offshore Baker is responsible for preparing all baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts, for crew consumption onboard. The role ensures consistent quality, hygiene, and timely production.
Key Responsibilities
Bake fresh bread, buns, cakes, and pastries daily
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area
Ensure baked items meet quality and dietary standards
Assist with kitchen duties when required
Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience and expertise in Baker.
Expertise in Bread, Cakes, Pastry & Local Cakes.
Baker menu creation, decoration, ordering, food cost.
Basic knowledge on HACCP & HSE.
Good Teamwork & Basic English / Malay proficiency.
