About the Role
The Offshore Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals for offshore personnel, maintaining hygiene standards, and managing kitchen operations in coordination with the Campboss or Chief Steward.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals according to a rotating menu
Accommodate dietary restrictions (halal, vegetarian, allergy-aware)
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene compliance
Monitor food stock levels and report shortages
Assist in unloading and storing provisions
Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience and expertise in Asian and/or Western Cuisine.
Knowledge in menu creation, food presentation, ordering, food cost.
Basic knowledge on HACCP & HSE.
Good Teamwork & Basic English / Malay proficiency.
